Muhammad Mokaev (5-0) is MMA’s most hyped prospect, and an argument is futile. “The Punisher” is undefeated in amateur fights (28-0) including three IMMAF titles, the most prestigious honor a fighter can accomplish. The six-time British junior wrestling champ has fans eager to see his octagon debut on March 19, at UFC London.
Muhammed was born in Buynaksk in The Republic of Dagestan in 2000. After his Mother unfortunately passed, Father and Son Mokaev moved due to political problems to a refugee camp in Liverpool at age 12. He took what he learned on the mats of wrestling-rich Dagestan and immediately implemented his unique style in amateur British wrestling, taking home SIX titles before turning to MMA.
Mokaev went on to capture International Mixed Martial Arts Federation’s 2018 and 2019 Junior tournament titles. Next year he stepped up to the Senior Tournament and exact same results occurred en route to another belt. After 28 victories without a loss, “The Punisher” stepped up to pro and punished five more foes to earn a UFC contract. He called out Cody Durden (12-3-1) and Muhammed got his wish. They’ll be throwing down Saturday and you better not miss it. Going down at a special start time of 1 PM ET.
