One to Watch at UFC Copenhagen: Jack “Tank” Shore

Jack “Tank” Shore (11-0) travels north from Wales to Denmark to make his octagon debut at UFC Copenhagen.  The undefeated bantamweight (135 LBS.) born and bred in Abertillery, Wales began MMA at featherweight (145 LBS.) in the amateur ranks in 2012.

“Tank” gained a supremely strong local following after vaulting to 11 straight wins.  Not much is known about Shore’s first fights but he submitted at least five opponents in the very first frame.

Jack made the jump to the pro level in 2016, dropping down to Bantamweight but picked up right where he left off.  With the Welsh pride backing him tenfold, Shore finished his first seven opponents, four more taps in round one.

“Tank’ gained a reputation for smart, technical grappling…but opponents figured out the scouting report as well.  Shore took natural steps up in competition but never tasted defeat.  Naturally, he took his bumps and bruises but showed fans his fight IQ, learning lessons quick and implementing strategies mid-fight to emerge victorious.  Get ready to see expert grappling in the octagon from Jack Shore when he takes on Nohelin Hernandez (10-3) on September 28th at UFC Copenhagen!
