Malcolm “X” Gordon (12-3) is a multi-promotion titleholder and a Black Belt in BJJ. The Canadian makes up a new wave of 125ers and debuts at UFC Fight Island 2, the Flyweight feature card.
Malcolm took his first MMA fight in 2012 and secured his first of four round one submissions. He reeled off five victories, bouncing between Flyweight and Bantamweight, before suffering two successive defeats.
Training out of Adrenaline MMA in London, Ontario, Gordon has faced the adversity and answered with a 7-1 record since those two losses. Along the way, “X” has collected ten of twelve wins by stoppage and six by submission.
The self-proclaimed “smallest guy in the gym” loves fighting off his back and can find a submission from any angle. Most recently, Malcolm Gordon has sided with Calvin Kattar and the New England Cartel to level up his boxing. We’ll see what tools he brings to his octagon debut Saturday, July 18. Gordon battles Amir “The Prince” Albazi (12-1) at UFC Fight Island 2.
