One to Watch at Bellator London: Fabian Edwards

Fabian “The Assassin” Edwards (8-0) is the younger brother of UFC Welterweight contender Leon Edwards (18-3).  With a combined record of 26-3, they make up the most talented family duo in MMA today.  With all this fighting skill between the two, you might think wolves raised the Edwards’!

Fabian is two years younger than Leon but both were born in Kingston, Jamaica.  The Edwards family relocated to the South shores of England, Birmingham to be exact, where they still reside to this day.  Fabian followed the footsteps of his brother, starting kickboxing training in early adolescence.

“The Assassin” took on the amateur MMA challenge after falling in love refining the all-around skills necessary to be a champ.  He rifled through 10 competitors, finishing all but one, before ascending to the professional ranks.  He faced the toughest competition in England but found the same success, reeling off five straight highlight reel finishes.

Fabian Edwards is now the top English prospect for Bellator and he has his biggest fight to date this Saturday, 11/23, as the co-main event.  “The Assassin” faces Mike Shipman (13-2) at Bellator London!
