One to Watch at UFC 241: Manny Bermudez

Undefeated Manny Bermudez can earn his 4th straight finish in the Octagon at UFC 241.  His skills deserve a ranking next to his name and a big win can do the trick in front of the masses on a huge pay-per-view.  “The Bermudez Triangle” has 11 submissions in 14 victories, five of them are courtesy of the signature triangle.

Manny started MMA near home in Abington, Massachusetts with small camp South Shore Sportfighting. “Money Bermudez” started amateur MMA in 2012 and compiled a record of 7-1, all wins by tap out and four in round 1.

Bermudez stepped up to the professional ranks and found more of the same success.  He earned his first KO in his first bout and never looked back.  After leaving 14 body bags in his wake, Manny is earning a reputation for being one of the quickest submission specialists in the World.  He has 7 submissions inside two minutes; impressive considering the time it takes to get quality opponents into such bad spots.  Ben Askren better watch his back, Manny gives him competition in his watermelon squeeze challenge.

Bermudez is now running through the ranks of the Bantamweight division.  He’s reeled off two guillotines and a triangle choke in three wins and looks for number four on Saturday, August 17 against Casey Kenney (12-1-1) at UFC 241.
