Max Holzer (11-0) is a 23-year-old German Featherweight who is one of Europe’s most entertaining fighters. He is known for eccentric walkouts decked out in costume, a charismatic personality on the mic, and an all-action fight style. He is a grappling specialist with seven submission victories across nine total stoppages.
Max was born in 2002 in Hannover and still calls the city in Northern Germany home. He trains out of Fightschool Hannover, a small-scale fight camp where he is the coach’s main focus. He started out his career at Bantamweight and he went 6-0. He then moved up ten pounds to 145 at Featherweight for his debut in the Europe-based promotion Oktagon. Since joining, he has reeled off five victories, three of which are rear naked chokes.
In his next fight he has a UFC veteran lined up in his sights. Khalid Taha (15-5) makes his Oktagon debut in the main event of Oktagon 75 riding a two-fight win streak. It is a test that 23-year-old Max Holzer should pass, but a tough one against a fighter with excellent experience, nonetheless.
