Salahdine Parnasse (17-1) is KSW’s Featherweight champion and he’s aiming at one more belt this weekend. At just 24 years old, he has a wealth of high-level experience already and still has years to reach his lofty potential. On Saturday November 12 Parnasse steps up ten pounds looking for Lightweight gold at KSW 76.
Salahdine was born in Aubervilliers, a suburb of Paris, France in 1997. His family called Morocco home before moving to Europe before Parnasse was born. At age 11 he found the same martial arts school he currently trains at, Atch Academy in Aubervilliers. He’s been a pro in MMA since age 17, making his debut in 2015.
Nicknamed “The Mbappe of French MMA” after French soccer superstar Kylian Mbappe, Parnasse has become the biggest name in the sport outside of France’s two heavyweight UFC stars. Salahdine’s skills have afforded him a shot to become a two-weight world champ, jumping up ten pounds from Feather to Lightweight. He was set to face KSW’s four-time title winner Marian Ziółkowski (25-8-1) but the Polish product was forced out by injury. Rest assured, the belt will stay on the line just in a vacant form as Sebastian Rajewski steps in to face the skilled striker. Salahdine Parnasse is must-watch tv for any MMA fan looking to expand their horizons. Circle November 12 and KSW 76 on your fight calendar!
