“Magic” Matt Dixon (9-0) flies from Tulsa to Las Vegas to face Orion Cosce (6-0) in the battle of undefeated fighters on week 3 of the Contender Series. The welterweight has never lost at any level, compiling a record of 12-0 across amateur and pro ranks. At the highest level, he’s collected six stoppages in eight pro victories.
Matt was born in Evansville, Indiana, sitting directly on the border to Kentucky and under 50 miles from Illinois. Enamored with the sport but with no MMA scene to speak of at home, Dixon ventured down to Tulsa, Oklahoma. He found his fight game at World Class Fighting and Fitness, a small camp where Dixon is currently the only professional.
Dixon is truly passionate about all martial arts, competing in boxing and kickboxing with a combined 10-0 record. He captured the Xtreme Fight Night 170 lb. belt in just his third fight back in 2018. He’s stayed busy with five title defenses and a debut win in LFA since.
“Magic” Matt Dixon is all set for the fight of his life on Tuesday, 8/18. Someone’s “0” must go against fellow undefeated Orion Cosce at Dana White’s Contender Series on ESPN+.
