One to Watch at UFC 249: Bryce Mitchell

Bryce “Thug Nasty” Mitchell (12-0) is must-see TV inside of the cage and out and he starts off the night on the UFC 249 prelims. Born, raised and still fighting out of Cabot, Arkansas, Mitchell is the definition of a country boy. The blue-eyed featherweight hunts for all his own meat and is in the process of constructing his own farm right outside his trailer-home. He’s great for a quote with a mic and camera in his face and you can see it all on his friends YouTube channel KidCannonTV.

Bryce’s MMA skills are captivating as well, seven submissions in round one and three wins in the octagon for the 25-year-old. He found himself on the 27th iteration of The Ultimate Fighter in 2018, after winning the V3 and HFC 145 lb. championships. Although he lost to Brad Katona (R3 SUB) in the semis, all wins and losses do not count until the finale if you impress that far into the competition.

Bryce Mitchell found himself on that final card and beat top prospect Tyler Diamond to save his UFC life. Since then he hasn’t looked back, collecting two wins over Matt Sayles and Bobby Moffett. “Thug Nasty’s” last bout saw him complete a rare twister submission gaining him much more fanfare in the MMA World. Mitchell can double down on that success Saturday, 5/9, versus Charles Rosa (12-3) at UFC 249!
