William “Knightmare” Knight (4-0) steps into The Contender
Series spotlight this week with his eyes fixed on another knockout. The Light Heavyweight hailing from Hartford,
Connecticut has a streak for the spectacular, with all four wins finished by KO
Knight started his MMA career as an amateur and beat up on
all the young guns, going 8 and 1 with 7 finishes. He moved up to the professional ranks and
found similar success so far, with three round one knockouts.
Knight started out as a small heavyweight, standing only 5’10. After his first pro bout, he moved down to
205 where he still finds a significant height and reach disadvantage. However his squatty body and big punching power
let him venture into the pocket where he finds supreme success.
The cornrowed killer aims to get a fifth victory versus Swedish bruiser Herdem Alcabak (5-0) and a UFC contract in tow.
